Bringing ‘best practice’
to life to influence
a workforce

PROJECT: GOOD TO GREAT

CLIENT: THE SMITH FAMILY

The Smith Family engaged Venn to create the content that would be used to engage and educate their workforce on what research had shown to be ‘best practice’.

Following stakeholder interviews with their audience, we proposed creating a video series that combined factual interviews that spoke to why this framework was effective, as well as scripted reenactments to show how it actually worked ‘in practice'.

Given the complexity and nuance associated with The Smith Family’s relationship with the families they support, our approach offered a way of communicating the pillars of their framework, along with practical examples that clearly shows the difference in outcomes for those that use the framework, and those that don’t.

Here’s what Georgina Coase, the Practice Development Manager, had to say about working with Venn.

“Working with Venn helped us take a basic concept of developing a ‘training video’ into something so much more. The vision and imagination they brought to this project resulted in a series of films that told the story of our work in an incredibly engaging and heartfelt way. We were impressed by the team’s ability to quickly get across the content, what we are about and the story we wanted to tell. Throughout the work from scripting to filming and production they were professional, reliable and responsive.  We will certainly be engaging their services for future projects of this kind and have no hesitation in recommending them.”
